1. I live in the United States. Can I order?

Yes. Aika Felt Works sends products worldwide by Finnish Post.

Note: Because your delivery destination is in the United States, Finnish VAT doesn't apply to your shopping. Instead, you will be charged customs, duties and brokerage charges in your country when you receive a product.

 


2. I don't have a credit card. Can I order?

It is possible to pay via PayPal. You must add funds to your PayPal account beforehand.

3. There are 2 prices written for 1 product. What do these mean?

European Union
In default condition, the price given in this web store includes the Value Added Tax (VAT) of 24% according to Finnish legislation.
This price applies to customers within the European Union.

Other countries
The price with "Ex. Tax" given in this web store doesn't include VAT.
This price applies to customers from other than European Union countries.
Customers from other than the EU countries are responsible for any customs, duties and brokerage charges which may be imposed. These charges will be collected when your order is delivered.

- In the checkout sectiin or
- in the shopping cart for checking your shipping cost
by choosing your country, total sum will be automatically adjusted.

For example...
87,70 €
Ex. Tax: 70,73 €
means that the price is;
87,70 € including VAT (customers within the EU), and
70,73 € excluding VAT (customers from other than the EU).

If you live/receive a product in the US, your price is 70,73 € when you settle the payment in this webshop, and you may be charged customs when you receive the product according to the US legislation.

 


4. How long does shippment take time to get a product?

Aika Felt Works uses Finnish Post for shipping. Shipping time varies according to destinations and shipping options (economy or priority). You can choose one shipping method from pull-down menu in the Check-out section.

5. How much can be shipping costs?

Aika Felt Works uses Finnish Post for shipping. Shipping cost varies according to product's weight, delivery time and tracking option. You can choose one shipping method from pull-down menu in the Check-out section.

Shipping cost is added to the prices indicated in the catalogue. Shipping cost is charged per order.

6. Do you take handling fees?

No. Additional cost on products is only a shipping cost.

 


7. Can you send products to a different address than I live?

It is possible. Please clearly write the delivery address and receiver's name in the Check-out page.

 


8. I want to rerurn a product. What can I do?

Aika Felt Works Webshop's customers have a fourteen-day right to return or exchange a product according to Finnish consumer protection legislation.

The customer has a right to return an item if

1. The order has been cancelled according to the terms and conditions by notifying Aika Felt Works within 14 days of delivery,
2. The item has not been used,
3. The item is in the condition that the customer received it in and all the parts of the product are included in the package,
4. The item has been repackaged into its original package or an equivalent.

The item must be returned immediately after cancellation.
If you return or exchange an item, you are responsible for the risk of damages. I therefore suggest insuring all items valued over 50 euros.
A damaged item will not be accepted as a return or exchanged if it cannot be established that the item has been damaged during the first shipping.
The price of the returned items will be refunded on your credit card or PayPal account, depending on your method of payment.
The reimbursement will take place as soon as I have received and inspected the returned item. This will result in a delay of some time before the refund is visible in your bank records.
