Last weekend, we went hiking in the Arctic Circle Hiking Area. There are longer and more interesting hiking courses that we would like to go, but this shortest course is our regular path these years together with our 3-year-old son. This time he walked through the path on his own foot and we can now plan to go further. I hope I can share more varieties of scenery in the Arctic forest with you.
Autumn is passing away already. We had the first snow in the end of September, and many charming snowmen appeared -:).
I have another job as a Japanese guide in Rovaniemi that is why I have been away from my workroom many days since the beginning of September. I love both works, designing and guiding. I obtain different kind of internal satisfaction from each work.
Oh, the other day I had a chance to inspect an optional tour called “Northern Light Hunting Tour” that we sell the most to our customers. We Japanese have such strong longing to see the northern light and that is their very aim of traveling to Rovaniemi. Oh, god, we saw the big one. The sky was full of shining stars, shooting stars, and dynamically moving northern lights. We were on the sandy beach of a lake listening to the sound of waves during the stay.
I was planning to update the progress of my lunch bag design (it’s almost done!) on this blog but didn’t find the time to work on. Instead, I have worked on designing and making a cat carrying bag and a cat bed with my customer, Lily. I have a custom-made felt basket for a shelf and these two new designs and the lunch bag waiting to launch. My move is so slow but surefooted. I hope to introduce the new designs as soon as possible!
