We’ve just come back from our 2nd short holiday staying 4 nights in our family’s summer cottage. Summer has come and colorful wild flowers blossom. Let’s look closer, because we can find different kinds of flowers blooming than early summer. I just couldn’t stop taking pictures because they were so beautiful, but there was one very serious problem: bloodsuckers!! You know mosquitos, but how about black flies? I used to live in a city area of Japan so black flies didn’t exist and I don’t have immunity against black flies. When it’s windy they don’t show up but once wind stops, I am a victim of them. Or, I run. I can’t stop taking pictures but can’t stay still at the same time! I had some battles with bloodsuckers and… I lost. Itchy!

Our boy loves playing house. He said he was cooking “terrace soup” with summer flowers in water from the river.

These were planted, and now we got (almost wild) 2 little strawberries :)

We had sunny sky and sudden hard showers. I have some rainy pictures to share. More later!
